Papermaker; deputy sheriff; Kalamazoo County Treasurer, 1919-22; Kalamazoo County Clerk, 1925-28; member of Michigan state house of representatives from Kalamazoo County 2nd District, 1939-50; died in office 1950. Died June 18, 1950 (age 71 years, 21 days). Interment at Riverside Cemetery, Kalamazoo, Mich.
