"County In Brief - Phillips"
The ashes of John Cramer arrived Tuesday last from Glendale, California and were buried in the Phillips cemetery Sunday, Dec. 9, 1923. Mr. Cramer was killed May 14, 1923, in an automobile accident at Glendale. Funeral services were held May 19, following which the body was cremated. Mr. Cramer's wife and son resided in this section several years ago, Mrs. Cramer being, before her marriage, Miss Clara McCutchon. One son was born to this union who remains to mourn his father's loss. Mr. Cramer was aged 65 years. A short prayer service was held Sunday afternoon, Dec. 9, 1924 [sic] at the Phillips cemetery. J. T. Price had charge.
