His father William Lunsford Elmore is buried in Bryce Cemetery, Tuscaloosa,Alabama, grave #695. He was the eighth child of ten children born to William Lunsford Elmore (1887-1934) and Hettie Lee Hobbs Elmore (1892-1933). His other brothers and sisters are: Henry Elmore (1911-1986); Calvin C.
