Frank was son of Jacob Ulysess Garey and Minnie L. VIncent, and brother to Albert. He graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan and studied business. He was 6'1" and an athlete.
He was in the Cresent Fraternity. He married Zorah Elizabeth Warrick in Madison.
Frank was a fabulous salesman for J.I. Case Co. A promotion took them to Omaha, where they had 2 children, Roger Warrick b 1921-2016 and Nancy Leah b. 1926-d.2010. The next promotion landed them in Lincoln where he was assistant manager for Case. Frank was the Secretary/Treasurer for the local Lion's Club in Lincoln. He was soft spoken and gentle. When the Great Depression hit, J.I. Case went belly up. He became an insurance salesman with Equitable Life.Franks health began to fail and he had a lung removed. Now they think it had something to do with his home burning down as a child. When it burned down he had mumps. The cold and exposure may have had contributed to his health problems later as he had pneumonia several times. However, he was a fabulous athlete in college.
