George M. Hendryx, formerly of this city, expires at hone in Indiana
Relatives in this city Monday received a message announcing the death of George M. Hendryx, son of Mrs. J. Hendryx of 704 South Center Street. Death was caused as near as could be told last evening as the result of a fall on the ice at his home in Idaville, Ind.
Mr. Hendryx was about 57 years of age and was born in Bloomington, making his home here until ten years ago, when he removed to Indiana. He has been engaged in farming near there. He leaves his wife and a number of children, together with his mother and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. M. V. Cline and Mrs. George Padgett, of the city, Mrs. Frank Padgett, Peoria; Judge W. B. Hendryx, this city; Fred Hendryx, Mossville, Ill.; Jesse Hendryx, Brookston, Ind., and Gent Hendryx, of Santiorre, Ind. Mr. Hendryx was well known in this city and a son of the early pioneer Allen Hendryx, who died here on March 16, 1890.
