Nathan T. Barnes, age 68 of Sweetwater, passed away on Friday, August 11, 2023 at his home.
He was a member of Glenlock Baptist Church of Sweetwater.
Preceded in death by his parents Alvin and Evelyn Barnes and sister and brother-in-law Francis and Tommy Beene.
Survivors include Vicki Barnes, wife of 49 years; sons and daughters-in-law Jonathan and Laura Barnes, Chad and Chasity Barnes; and special niece Shannon Croft. Four grandchildren: Emily, Randy, Essie, and Aubrie Barnes, all of Sweetwater. Brothers and sisters-in-law: Johnny and Norma Lee Barnes and Rhonda Busby, with several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The family will be receiving friends on Monday, August 14, 2023 at Sweetwater Memory Chapel from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.
Graveside service will be held Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Sweetwater Memorial Park with Dr. Gerald Atkins and Dr. Lon Shoopman officiating.
Sweetwater Memory Chapel is in charge of all arrangements.
