Maria Nicole Carissimi, 20, of St. Clair Shores, died Thursday, April 3, 2008, in Detroit. She was born in Warren.
She enjoyed spending time with her dog, Buddy; and cats, Sheba and Fluffy.

She is survived by her parents, James (Mashell) Carissimi, and Lesa Dubay; siblings, Alexandria Rose Carissimi, Gerald Lajiness, Tristin (John) McGee, and Michel-Rose Cross; grandparents, Lena (the late Sam) Carissimi, and Virginia Dubay; aunts and uncles, Nancy (Cyril) Sova, Rita Smith, John Dubay, Gary (Theresa) Dubay, Janice (Glen) Sales, Dominic (Theresa) Carissimi, and Karen Carissimi; and niece, Makayla Lajiness.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc., 36900 Schoenherr, Sterling Heights. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery.

Visitation is 5-9 p.m. Sunday and 2-9 p.m. Monday, with a 7 p.m. eulogy service, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be addressed to the Juvenile BiPolar Research Foundation.
