Burt, as he was known to family & friends was b: 3 July 1881 in Henderson Twp. s/o John Frederick & Caroline Rishell Weber.
Married: Mary Ann Jeffrey 10 Jan 1906, Salamanca, N.Y. & their union brought one son, Blair.

Burt was a young lad when he came to Sykesville with his parents & siblings. He attended the local schools & assisted his father, J.F. Weber in the operation of their meat market. Burt went into the hardware business with Wm. Waugaman & soon took over the interest of his partner & formed the "Weber Hardware". Son, Blair has taken over the hardware since his fathers illness.

Burt was one of Sykesville's most substantial citizens being president of First National Bank of Sykesville at the time of his death. He was also a member of many organizations in Sykesville. He had greatly assisted the the War Bond Drives and many other worthwhile drives by groups for civic benefit.

Burt became ill May 1944 being confined to bed till his death, 25 Oct 1944 from a cerebral hemorrhage. Survived by his wife, one son, one grandson & many brothers & sisters. Services were held at his home & burial at Sykesville Memorial Park.
