She loved God, her family and friends. She was the daughter of Wilhemena Cook and Lorenza Dow Clark, Jr. She was born in Williamsburg county and grew up in Lake City, SC. She graduated from Lake City High School, Class of 1960 and married Howard T. Driggers July 20, 1960. They had a daughter Natalie Jan on December 22, 1966 born in Columbia, SC. A son Howard T. Driggers, Jr. was born on November 11, 1969 also in Columbia, SC. She learned she had lupus (SLE) in 1973 while living in Florida and fought the disease until her death on November 22, 1991. She died of Lung Cancer. Her main goal upon learning that she had lupus was to live to see her children grown. She accomplished that goal! She was a loving daughter, wife, mother and friend to all who knew her.
