The News Palladium carried the obituary for Louise Mast on 27 Apr 1940 and it reads: "Funeral Services For Louise Mast Set For Sunday Bridgman, April 27-Funeral services for Mrs. Louise Mast, 24, wife of Lloyd Mast of Livingston, will be held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gustav Gaul, Stevensville, and at 2 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran church, Stevensville. Mrs. Mast who had been ill for the past eight weeks, died at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Mercy hospital. She was born Sept. 15, 1915 in Stevensville and married to Lloyd Mast May 14, 1938. Besides her husband and parents, Mrs. Mast is survived by an infant daughter, Lloydene Louise, seven weeks old, four brothers, Albert, Herbert, Arnold and August Gaul, and three sisters, Margaret, Irene and Vera, all of Stevensville. The body will be taken to the Gaul home this afternoon from the W. F. Hall funeral home. The Rev. William Essig, pastor of the Stevensville Lutheran church, will officiate at the rites. Burial will be in Graceland cemetery. Casket bearers will be Harold Mathieu, Theodore Binger, Gustav Nimetz, Gustav Skala, Robert Brant and Ralph Mast." Louise Gaul married William Lloyd Brant.
