Celeste Adams was born on August 4, 1976 to William Adams and Pauline Fakauho Adams.

She attended St. James Grammar School in Redondo Beach, graduated from Bishop Montgomery High School in 1994 whereupon she attended her Father's alma mater, Loyola Marymount University graduating with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1998 and a Master of Arts Degree in 2009.

Celeste played Torrance AYSO soccer as goalie for The Waves. Coach Sam Tanaka took the team on to win 59 tournaments, 5 League Championships, 5 League Cup Championships, 4 California South State National Championships, 2 West Regional Championships, and 2 National Championship Competitions where they placed 4th and 2nd.

While in High School Celeste played volleyball, soccer, and softball. She was the 1994 BMHS Female Sportswomen of the Year. Celeste has been especially close to her volleyball coach, Kim Willeman, who has an astounding record of wins at BMHS.

On the soccer field, Celeste is arguably the greatest goalkeeper in BMHS history. Following her senior season, she was named CIF Goalkeeper of the Year, City of Torrance Player of the Year, and All-State Goalkeeper. Celeste was inducted into the BMHS Athletic Hall of Fame in 2018.

While attending Loyola Marymount University she lettered four years in soccer. She was a 1994 2nd Team All-West Coast Conference selection and has her name in the LMU record for Most Saves in a Game (19) and Most Saves in a Season (119) and is 2nd in Career Saves with 294.

After receiving her B.A., Celeste returned to BMHS first as a teacher and coach and then after obtaining her M.A. as a counselor. She provided over 23 years of committed service. She also was a longtime assistant coach on Kim's Nfinity Club until 2021.

She passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on October 20, 2022 in Redondo Beach, California.

Celeste was a loving daughter, dedicated educator, long time coach, and loyal friend.
