Together they raised three beautiful children: Tony Goggin, Tonya (Patrick) Vaughan, and Colleen (Emmett) Mulligan. He also leaves behind four grandchildren: Amanda (Lee) Long, Caitlin (Jared) Green, Zachary Stites (Shelby), Makayla Mulligan, two great-grandchildren: Christopher Long, Alison Green, four sisters: Judy (Daniel) Kempa, Barbara Brann (Richard Heidt), Sharon (Dave) Chrisinske, Donna (Alan) Dolwick, many nephews, a niece and great-nephews and great-nieces. He now joins those who have gone before him: his parents Fred and Joan Goggin, brother, Frederick A. Goggin, brothers-in-law Richard Heidt, Daniel Kempa, nephew Steven Kempa and niece Kaitlyn Brann.
Mike's first love was his family and he also enjoyed camping, traveling, and going on scenic drives with Carmien in his classic 1968 Dodge Charger. With the quintessential Irish "gift of gab", Mike had an innate ability to connect, assist, and befriend. Whether he was sharing tales from his travels or engaging in a heartwarming chat with a camping neighbor, his magnetic presence was felt by all.
Mike's vibrant personality, coupled with the respect and admiration he garnered, will forever be a testament to the full life he led. Though his physical presence is no longer with us, the love and memories he imparted remain undying. He will always be in our hearts and forever missed.
A private memorial will commemorate Mike's wonderful journey, and his wishes for cremation have been respected. In honor of his generous spirit, donations can be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
