Funeral service for Mary Woods Helton, 88, of Anniston, will be 1 pm Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with Rev. Scotty Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 12 - 1 pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Helton passed away on Saturday at her residence.
Survivors include her daughters, Dot Hunt and Jayne Walters (Tim), sons, Robert Limburg, Ray Woods (Sherry) and William Earl Woods, grandchildren, Sondra Dean, David Young, Brandon Woods, Tim McGinnis, Crystal Conway and 10 more grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren..
Mrs. Helton is preceded in death by her husbands, Charles E. Woods and Raymond Helton.
Pallbearers will be Cecil Drummond, Don Pitts, Kenny McCurry, Randy Taylor, Donnie McGinnis and Jeremy McGinnis.
Mrs. Helton was a native of Clay County and a resident of Calhoun County since 1956. She was a member of Wayside Baptist Church. Mrs. Helton was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a very devoted church member and she loved to travel.
