Archie Edward Kephart was born April 27, 1903 at Republic City, Washington Township, Republic County, Kansas.

He was the twelfth of the twelve children born to Josiah Daniel Kephart and Sarah Elizabeth McGuire.

He moved with his parents to Ladore, Neosho County, KS in 1910.

On Sept. 14, 1924 he married Cecile Olive King (9 May 1909-Apr 2004) at Parsons, Labette County, Kansas.

Two daughters were born from this union:
Marjorie Mae Kephart (Eberle-Bowlin-Stubert)(5 Dec 1925-2011) and Naomi Belle Kephart (Mahler)(14 Nov 1929-5 Nov 2002).

Archie Edward Kephart died of Pneumonia at the home of L.T. "Bill" Eccles and Hazel Catherine Kephart Eccles, his sister, at Parsons, Labette, County, Kansas.

He is buried at Valley Cemetery located near rural Galesburg, Neosho County, KS.
