AUBURN – Services for Joel Darling, 79, of Montezuma, who died yesterday in Auburn City Hospital, will be at 3 P.M. tomorrow at the Dwinelle funeral home, Port Byron. Burial will be in Montezuma Cemetery.
Darling, a native of Collamer, spent much of his life at Montezuma. He leaves no immediate survivors.

Joel's parents were Lyman and Elizabeth (Smith) Darling. He had an older sister Almedia, and a younger brother, William. According to his WW1 Registration card, he was medium build and had blue eyes.
