He was a machinist for U.S. Pipe and Foundry for 25 years. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Gardendale Chapel, with burial in New Walker's Chapel Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Faith Barr, Fultondale; two daughters, Mrs. Louise Crider, St Louis, Mo., and Mrs. Nellie Jo Huett, Fultondale; two sons, C.E. Barr, Fultondale, and Robert Barr, Atlanta, Ga., and a sister Mrs. Lillie Leitch, Tampa, Fla.
