Mary Patton b 28 Jun 1778 PA; by Oral legend married her Irish distant cousin Andrew Patton (b 1770 Ireland, D 20 Sep 1829 Fleming Co, Ky), son of David Patton of Buneranna, County Donegal, Ireland from Scottish Irish Pattons. His mother name was not in Pennsylvania nor in Kentucky Record only that N.N., that she was born in Ireland.

Mary Patton, pedigree as daughter of John Patton, Sr [b ca 1739 PA son of John Patton] first wife Frances (Fannie) Poynts, Mrs Patton [b est bef 1750 PA and died bet 1792 PA and before 14 May 1795, Newville, PA]; when Mary’s father as widower marriage of John Patton [Died aft 1809 and bef 1810 Census North Huntingdon, Westmoreland Co, Pennsylvania as was deceased], to second wife Sarah Shannon b ca 1756 - aft 1815 PA[same church], dtr Robert Shannon (1722- bef 1796) & Jane Litrell or Little.

He by David Agricola was the pos Capt of Rangers and Major in Ky Militia. KDM finds no confirmation of this military record. However, James Patton by wife Mary Duncan by bible flyleaf, b 13 Nov 1771 d 7 Sep 1821 Missouri, was the Mary Patton who died and buried in unmarked grave as done at that time in Montgomery Co, Missouri in area near the later Audrain Co, Mo area. James Patton, Sr by Mary Duncan also had son James Patton, JR (of Fleming Co, Ky) married Elizabeth Duncan, Dau (most likely) of David Duncan, Sr by (1st) Mary Bailey of Boston, Mass; whom was sister of William Duncan, Sr md to Elizabeth Henderson, Dau of D. Henderson, Per McAlpine-Patton Story was Daniel Henderson fl 1783 in Washington Co, NC later Greene Co, Tenn. Died bef 1818 when wife Hannah Wilson Henderson, dtr Elizabeth Henderson [had dtr Amanda Elizabeth Alice Duncan, w/o Thomas Patton (d 1874 Fulton, Mo)]; by 1st husband of Elizabeth Henderson, William (Wm) Duncan, Sr; later as Elizabeth Henderson (i.e., as retook maiden) md 2nd (Hickman Co, TN in late 1811) Solomon Palmer and incorrectly given her b ca 1795/1796. Per 1810 Fleming Co, Ky census born bucket bef 1784 in Virginia area which pos called Kentucky or Tenn later. She was by Family legend of two families (separate by 125 years) granddaughter Of James Wilson, Signer of Declaration of Independence and Constitution [He was advocate of popular vote in elections]. Her mother Hannah Wilson born by James Wilson's first wife Sarah, or 2nd Rachel Bird.
