DUFFY, RAYMOND FRANCIS III - Raymond Francis Duffy III, "Trey", age 22, a resident of South Salem and Pound Ridge, NY died on December 5, 2007 at home. He was born October 11, 1985 to Raymond F. Duffy, Jr. and Jamie Bartholomay Niemie in Stamford, CT. Trey was educated at St. Patrick's Elementary School in Bedford, NY, Lawrence Academy in Groton, MA and graduated from Albany Academy in Albany, NY. He was a Junior in the SUNY college system. Trey will always be remembered for his love of baseball and his pride in having been a batboy for and a fan of the Atlanta Braves. Since childhood, Trey was known for his love of his dogs and his passion and mastery for gadgets and everything electronic. He also had a keen interest in the history of the Vietnam War. Trey is survived by his beloved parents, Raymond F. Duffy, Jr. and Jamie Niemie. He is the loving brother of Bryan Duffy and sisters, Taylor, Bailey and Torre Duffy, and he is the devoted grandson of Raymond F. Duffy, Sr. and Martina T. Duffy and William C. Bartholomay and Sara T. Swift. A Mass of Christian Burial was held on December 10, 2007 at St. Patrick's R.C. Church in Bedford, NY. Interment followed at Pound Ridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Atlanta Braves Foundation, Trey Duffy Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 4064, Atlanta, GA 30302.
