Diana was born to Nelson and Gertrude E. "Trudy" Faginkrantz Stimpert.

She is survived by her parents; one sister, Melissa (Gregg) Cavanaugh; her grandmother, Mary Cooksey; two aunts, Suzann Stimpert and Linda Stone; and two uncles, Frank Strawn and John Faginkrantz.

She was a graduate of Robert Jamieson School.

Diana worked at Parc and loved the Peoria Rivermen.
