Carlota Mejia Adams, 81, passed away Tuesday, Jan.
28, 2003, in Encinal. She was born in Laredo. She was preceded
in death by her parents, Cresencio and Ramona Mejia; husband, Jorge Adams; and son, Jorge Adams Jr. She was survived by her children, 18 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
A rosary will be recited Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2003, at
7 p.m. at the Hillside Funeral Home chapel. Visitation will be
from 4 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday,
Jan. 30, 2003, at 10:30 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Encinal. Interment will follow at Encinal Cemetery. Arrangements are
under the direction of Hillside Funeral Home, 310 Hillside
