Johnny Fred was born December 20, 1947 in Swainsboro, Ga. He was preceded in death by his parents, Penton Allen Sr. and Lucille Martin Odom; brother, Jimmy Ray Wasden; step-father, Ward Odom.
Mr. Allen was known as "Fred" to his closest friends. He loved to fish the river and camp with his friends and family. He Served in Germany during the Vietnam War. He was an Army Veteran. Mr. Johnny Fred adored his grands and great grands. He owned his own business called Johnny Fred's. He was a man of few words but his facial expressions could not hide his feelings. Mr. Johnny Fred spent 28 years paralyzed and was cared for greatly by his wife and soulmate, Cherry.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 29, 2023, in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with
Interment will follow in Eastbrook Cemetery and Mausoleum.
