WALTER SLATER, 65, DIES AT PAW PAW
PAW PAW, May 18. Walter Slater, 65, native of the Netherlands, died at 11 a. m. today in his home on US-12, two miles east of Paw Paw where he had resided for the past four years. He was a carpenter and operated a trailer factory.
Besides his wife, Lydia, he leaves six children.
Funeral services will be held -Saturday at 2 p. m. from the Blakeman mortuary In Kalamazoo, with burial in Riverside cemetery. The News-Palladium 18 May 1939, Page 17
