Eddie graduated from Clay Township High School in 1950 then attended Indiana University Kokomo. He worked at Delco Electronics for over 40 years and retired in 1995. Prior to working at Delco Electronics, he worked at Montgomery Wards and owned El Compadre Restaurant. Eddie loved to cook and travel to see his family all over the country. He was a Purdue certified master gardener, member of the Indiana Rose Society, and Converse Masonic Lodge. He was one of the founding members of the Howard County Community Garden. Eddie could build anything and even built the home that they raised their family in. He was a member of the Connextion Church.
