It is with very great sorrow that we announce the passing of Earle, born to Ruby and Jack Dyer, the first of 6 children and spending his first 15 years residing in Rivers Manitoba. The family moved to Gilbert Plains in 1940 and Earle joined the army at age 17. His family relocated to Agassiz in 1945 after purchasing the Hotel Bella Vista and Earle linked up with them shortly after his discharge from the army. He worked at the mill in Harrison Mills, ran a coffee shop at the hotel, drove a truck for BA oil and then took a job as a pressman at the Agassiz Advance and later for a Chilliwack print shop. For many years he would also work as the projectionist at the Agassiz theatre on the weekends.
Earle was a hard-working man with many talents, he always had time to chat and once you met him you never forgot him. He married Marjorie Elizabeth Probert in 1956 and they enjoyed 61 wonderful years together. They were an inseparable couple. He built his family home at 7346 Morrow Road in 1960 where together they raised 3 children.
He was dedicated to both his family and the community he lived in. He had a fondness for gardening, a love of sports, a keen interest in woodworking and photography and most of all was heavily involved in the community. He volunteered his time as a firefighter, a member of the Legion and badminton club, as a softball coach, bingo volunteer, fundraiser and most of all served over 40 years as a member of the Agricultural Association.
Predeceased by his wife Marjorie and brother Melvin (Spud). He will be lovingly remembered by his siblings, Orville, one sister and two brothers. As well his youngest son. And 4 grandsons; one daughter and 7 great grandchildren. Also, his eldest son and numerous nieces and nephews.
Earle was very proud of his family and will be missed dearly by all who knew him.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 05, 2018 at the All Saints Anglican Church in Agassiz starting at 11 am. A light luncheon will follow at Cheam Village starting at noon.
