Harry L. Routledge Jr., 86, died April 3, 2008 at Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach. He was born in Matherville, IL, and moved to Spanish Lakes Country Club in Fort Pierce in 2007, coming from Sayville, NY.

Before retirement, was an electrical engineer with the Long Island Lighting Company, with 40 years of service.

He was of the Catholic faith.

He served in the Coast Guard during World War II.

Survivors include his daughter, Sharon Reidy of Fort Pierce; brother, William Swamback of Charlottesville, VA; four granddaughters and one great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Routledge and a daughter, Cathy Klein.

Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA/Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.

SERVICES: A celebration of life service will be in Long Island at a later date, with interment being at Calverton National Cemetery in Long Island.
