Roma H. Collins, 67, Linton, died at 7 a.m. today at his home.
Born Nov. 10, 1926, in Hamilton, Ohio, he was the son of Roma and Gertrude ( Hurley ) Collins.
He had been a construction worker and for the last few years,a self employed used carsaleman. He was a member of Samara Pentecostal Church in Linton.
Surviving are four daughters, Brenda Cornwell and Linda Schmidt, both of Evansville, Regina Franks of Linton and Lorrie Terry of Carterville, Ill.,three sons, Harry Collins of Vincennes, Roma " Butch " Collins of Bicknell and David Collins of Evansville; a brother, Edward Collins of Vincennes; two sisters, Carol King and Florence Wells, both of Vincennes; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
His wife, Lillie Pearl ( Stevens ) Collins, died in 1993. A brother and two sisters are deceased.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Brockman and Son Funeral Home, the Rev, Darrol Burch officiating.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from noon until the service Saturday at the funeral home.
