Martha L. Ogborn, 88, a lifelong resident of Zionsville, passed away at Zionsville Meadows on Friday, April 17, 2015. Martha was preceded in death by father, Mr. J. Glenn Ogborn, and her mother, Mrs. Mildred Artman Ogborn. Martha graduated from Zionsville High School (class of 1944), attended Purdue University and Butler University. She worked as an office manager at College Life and Alpha Chi Omega. Martha was a lifelong member of Zionsville United Methodist Church where she currently served on the Senior Adult Ministries Board. Previously she served on the Timmy Foundation Board of Zionsville United Methodist Church and the Zionsville Cemetery Board. After a private service, Martha was laid to rest at Zionsville Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be made to the Timmy Foundation, Salem United Methodist Church, or Zionsville United Methodist Church. She is buried next to her parents and her fiancé, Roy Shaw. Roy passed away from a heart attack just 11 days before they were to be married. Arrangements and care were entrusted to Simplicity Funeral & Cremation Care, Indianapolis.
