Sarah raised her children and also raised her grandaughter, Addie.
Sarah Chenoweth deeded land for the Wager School District No.90 on Aug. 28, 1882. The deed was not recorded until March 1888. The county roads and lack of bridges often made a trip to the courthouse difficult. Although the mill had been moved away and the post office was discontinued, both soon after the turn of the century, Wager school continued over a quarter of a century.OBIT: PRINTED BENTON COUNTY DEMOCRAT 3-28-1890

Mrs Chimneth from Wager Died at her home at Wager March 18th 1890. Mrs. Chimneth was buried at the Elm Springs Cemetery March 19 1890.
