BLACKWOOD RITES TO BE HELD TODAY

Services Will Be Held At 2 O'clock At Pentecostal Holiness Church
Funeral services for James L. Blackwood, 68, Chapel Hill resident who died here Friday night at the home of his daughter Mrs. J. W. Allen, 721 15th street, will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Pentecostal Holiness church in West Durham. The Pastor's Rev. Vernon and Vinson Ellenberg will officiate assisted by Rev. Lester Parrish at Carrboro. Burial will be to the Sparrow Cemetery two miles south of Chapel Hill. Pallbearers will be A. W Utley, Bob Byrd, S. W. Avery, D. W. Love, W. F. Forest and E. H. Barton, Surivors are his widow Mrs. Lorina Blackwood, one stepdaughter, three daughters, three sons, two sisters and two brothers. Mr. Blackwood was formerly Connected with the University laundry. He had been a resident of Durham for the past seven weeks. Brights disease was the cause of his death.
