June 7 - Worth P. Abbott, son of Judge and Mrs. Vasco P. Abbott, of Gouverneur, died today at the Abbott summer home on Cranberry Lake after an illness of several years. Death was due to consumption.
Mr. Abbott was born in Gouverneur. He attended the public schools at that place and ST. Lawrence University at Canton. After completing his college course he entered the New York Law school, but was unable to complete the work owing to failing health. He was married about four years ago to Miss Helen Probst of Rochester. They resided for a time at Cranberry Lake and the past winter was spent at Rochester, and on Memorial day, Mr. Abbott came to Cranberry lake.
Besides his widow and parents, Mr. Abbott is survived by one brother, Hugh Abbott of Cranberry Lake. The remains will be taken to Gouveneur tomorrow.
