Gloria was born in Wheeler, Texas, the daughter of Tommy and Bea Henderson. She married Olin Keith (O.K.) Alford on June 1, 1956, and they celebrated 61 years of marriage together until O.K.'s passing in 2017.
Gloria graduated from Borger high school and attended Frank Phillips Jr. College. She went on to spend a successful career in the real estate industry, ultimately becoming President of the Fairfield Companies in Houston, Texas.
Gloria will be remembered by all of her friends and family for her gentle and selfless spirit. She was always focused on making sure everyone around her was happy, never wanting anyone to be troubled.
Gloria is survived by two caring and devoted daughters, Gayla Boss and Sherri Ohmstede, who will miss her dearly, as well as their family members: husbands Edward Boss and Mike Ohmstede, grandchildren Lindsey Carroll and husband Luke, Lauren Ohmstede, Ryan Boss and wife Nicollette, Christopher Ohmstede and wife, Kassidy Jo, great grandchildren Lennon, Millie and Case Carroll, Evelyn Boss and Colton Ohmstede. Additionally, Gloria is survived by her nephew, Russell Rhea and wife Denise.

Graveside Service was held Sunday, July 23, 2023 at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Trinity, Texas with Pastor Tim Dixon officiating.
