Viewing will be 11:00 am- 6:00 pm Friday, October 7, 2022 with a visitation following from 6:00-7:00 pm at Englunds. Funeral Services will be 10:30 am Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Quaker Ave Church of God in Lubbock. Interment will follow at Englewood Cemetery in Slaton. Arrangements are by Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton.
Raymond was born in Jacksonville, Texas on July 8, 1948, to Raymond and Cordelia Tomlin.
He graduated from Rains County High School in 1968. Raymond moved to Slaton with his family in August of 1969 as his father was called to pastor Slaton Church of God. Raymond married Debbie Wren February 12, 1977 at Grace Assembly of God Church in Lubbock. He was a house painter for 35 years and was also a music director at Quaker Avenue Church of God. Raymond loved spending time with his granddaughters.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his son, Tracy Tomlin.
Raymond is survived by his wife, Debbie of Lubbock; his sister, Sharon Walker of Crockett; his brothers, Martin Tomlin and his wife, Rosalinda of Helotes and Jerrel Tomlin and his wife, Melanie of Mineral Wells and two granddaughters, Katie and Sophia Gaitan.
