Obituary
Passed away on March 25, 2021, Jon Gregg Murray at Guelph General Hospital. Primarily lifelong resident of Fergus, ON, Jon was predeceased by his parents Gregg and Pauline Murray of Fergus, his brother Richard of Guelph, and his loving and devoted sister and brother-in-law Jean Connor & Edward "Ted" Hawkins of Fergus.
Left with fond memories are Ted's daughter, Lesli Schelling of Thunder Bay, ON, family friend Shawn Bursey of St. John's, NL and friend/caregiver, Kim Lesperance of Fergus.
Jon had a passion for music and literature all his life, acquiring a sizeable collection of each. Jon also enjoyed the companionship of dogs throughout his life, a trait he acquired from his father.
Thanks must be extended to those doctors, nurses and healthcare workers who provided care to Jon, as his health declined in recent years.
As per Jon's wishes, cremation to take place and there will be no funeral.
Inurnment to follow in Fergus, at a later date.
