Rites Held For Mrs. Lucy Ezell
Funeral Services were conducted from Brown Funeral Home last Thursday afternoon for Mrs. Lucy Adams Ezell, 89 who passed away Wednesday morning, Aug. 5, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Nelson Fussell, 215 N. Vermont St., with whom she had made her home for the past 16 years. Religious services were conducted by the Rev. Herman Wilkinson of the First Baptist Church in Walker, La., with interment in the Adams cemetery near Isabel. The Rev. J. E. Crutchfield assisted.
A native of Washington Parish, Mrs. Ezell lived for many years in the 2nd Ward before coming to Covington to reside. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Nelson Fussell, Mrs. Emile Fussell of Covington, and Mrs. Roy Schroder of Hamilton, Ohio, a step-son, Ira Ezell; her sister, Mrs. Ada Cooper of Bogalusa, and two brothers, D. W. Adams and F. D. Adams of Isabel, 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
