Delray Beach - Albert Camentz, 58, of Delray Beach, Florida passed away September 13, 2023. Originally from Louisville, Kentucky he attended the Brown school and graduated in the Class of 1982 from Atherton High School. Al continued his education at Tulane University graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. During his tenure in New Orleans, he fell in love with the New Orleans indigenous cultural and music scene. His career as an Apple Computer "guru" brought him great joy working with people and their Apple devices. He was ensconced in the South Florida music scene and looked forward to annual visits to Jazz Fest in New Orleans and the annual Mardi Gras event with his beloved MonkeyKrewe.
He is survived by his father, sister, nephews, cousins and countless friends. A private celebration of his life will be held in his memory for friends and family. Expressions of sympathy can be made to New Orleans Musicians' Clinic, MusiCares.org or favorite animal rescue organization.
