J. W. McDevitt 72 died suddenly of a heart attack at 2:30am today at his home 334 East Washington St Lisbon.
Surviving are his widow; two daughters, Mrs. Harvey Verner of Lisbon and Mrs Russell Varer of Canton; four sons, Clyde, Nelson, Merle and Harvey, all of Lisbon and one brother, Andrew of Lisbon.
Mr. McDevitt was born in Salineville. He was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church.
Funeral Services will be held at the home at 2:30pm Thursday with Rev. J. M. Cotton of the church officiating as Rev C. N. Church pastor of the M. E. Church who is out of town.
Interment will be in the Lisbon Cemetery.
