Pauline A. Harbour, 87, of Maple Knolls Apartments, passed away Friday, September 15, 2023, at the Edward L. Wilkinson Residential Health Care Facility with her family by her side.

Pauline was born February 5, 1936, the daughter of Leon and Frances (Buchinski) Hryniak in Herkimer.

She was a member of the Gloversville HS Class of 1954.

Surviving family members include her two daughters and a son: Laurie (Wayne) Fischer of Amsterdam, Michele (Edward) Blake of Johnstown and David Harbour of Johnstown. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren: Nicholas (Amanda) Fischer of Tribes Hill and children, Alexandra and Ellianna Fischer, Brian (Jennifer) Blake of Saratoga, Thomas (Amie Strait) Blake of Saratoga Lake and children, Ryan, Axel and Ella Blake, and Abigail (Grant Gyldenvand) Blake of Malta.

She will be dearly missed by her sister, Barbara (Bill) Buczek of Morrisville, Vermont and longtime friend, Kathy Baker of Caroga Lake.

She was predeceased by her parents, her sister, Virginia Emrich of Herkimer and brother, Peter Hryniak of Gloversville.

Pauline was a well-known cook for many years for the Eccentric Club, Nathan Littauer Hospital and later by Mountain View, a Lexington Center home, before retiring. She worked part-time for Price Chopper as a Super Samples "lady" and also as an Elections Inspector for Fulton County.
