OBITUARY OF HUGH V. FOSTER
Hugh Vern Foster, 87, of Riverton, Wyo. died Jan. 16, 1990 at Fremont Manor in Riverton. Funeral services were held Jan. 20 at the Davis Funeral Home in Riverton with the Rev. J. Holland Vernon officiating. Burial was in the Mountain View Cemetery in Riverton, Wyo.
Hugh Vern Foster was born Sept, 3, 1902 in Litchfield, the son of Mary Jane (Hughes) and George Foster. He married Mildred Gladys Cordell on Jan. 1, 1923 in Mason City, and they made their home on a farm in the Mason City and Litchfield area until 1935 when they moved to Riverton, Wyo. where he farmed. Mildred died on April 9, 1973.
Survivors are a son, four daughters; a sister, 20 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Foster was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and three sisters.
