T22977740 Corporal L M McKay, 55 Company, Royal Army Service Corps (Air Despatch). He was the commander of the Air Despatch crew on an RAF Valetta (of 48 Squadron RAF based at RAF Butterworth, Penang) dropping supplies on 15 June 1956 when it stalled and crashed into a hill near Ipoh, Perak, Malaya. There were no survivors, and the Aircrew, Observer and the Despatchers were buried at the crash site. Those killed were:
