William was the proprietor of the Trenton Department Store in Trenton, NJ and Yards Twig Shop in Ewing, NJ, for more than 30 years.

He is survived by his wife, Bertha "Bert" Olin Troll of Fort Lauderdale, FL; one son, Dr. Richard Troll of Yardley, PA; one daughter, Gerry Karen Bogart of Princeton, NJ; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and one brother, Samuel H. Troll of Lawrenceville, NJ.
