Beloved son of William and Jennie Amick. Brother of Charles and Arthur Amick. He died at age 49 at Cincinnati General Hospital of sub acute bacterial endocarditis as a result of chronic rheumatic heart disease.

Loring served in the army during WWI and he and his mother lived at 1445 Walnut Street in Cincinnati. He may have been living alone at the time of his death, as the death certificate states his residence as Hudson Hotel.
