Chico Enterprise-Record, Monday, March 12, 1956: "Susie Bonett. Mrs. Susie McClone Bonett, 64, of 177 East 15th Street, died Saturday night at Butte County Hospital in Oroville after she was stricken suddenly by a heart attack.

Mrs. Bonett had lived in Chico for the past six years. She was born in Missouri July 20, 1892 and came to California when she was 14. Two years later she married Ira Burnett, and later became the wife of Allen Bonett.

Survivors include her husband, four sons, Virgil, Bob and Timothy Burnett of Sacramento, and Floyd Burnett, of Ogden, Utah; one daughter, Rosetta, of Orangevale, and several nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the Chico Missionary Baptist Church tomorrow at 2 p.m. Elder James Patterson will officiate. Friends may call tomorrow between 10 a.m. and noon at the Christian Service Society, 1508 Locust Street."
