Rose Victoria Baierl, age 88, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, September 28, 2023, surrounded by loved ones. She was born December 15, 1934 in Menominee, Michigan to Joseph and Evelyn (Ebbinger) Delfosse.
She married Howard Baierl on January 16, 1954 and resided in Green Bay, WI for many years.
Rose worked at K-Mart in Green Bay until her retirement.
She was a member of Porterfield Lutheran Church where she was very active until illness. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many other family members and friends. Rose loved gardening at her beautiful home on the Menominee River.
Rose is survived by children: Gary (Mary) Baierl and Howard (Kelly) Baierl, Jr.;
grandchildren: Jason (Heather) Baierl, Lea (Mike) Walschinski, Billy (Tara) Baierl, Chris (Monica) Hemb and Jamie (Ben) Blundell;
great-grandchildren, Sophia, Rose, Gage, Margaux, Millie and Kinsley;
sisters: Lorraine (Charles) Bird and Arlene (Robert) Davis;
nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends;
and special friends: Donna Merrick and Dennis Bergeson.
She was preceded in death by her husband Howard;
her mother and father;
a brother and sister-in-law Joseph, Jr. and Valerie Delfosse;
brothers-in-law: Charles Bird, Sr. and Robert Davis;
and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Gertie and Raymond Baierl.
Visitation will be at Porterfield Lutheran Church on Friday, October 6, 2023 from 9 until 11 a.m. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Kenneth Michaelis officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Menominee, MI.
