Ellen's books are often confused with those written by her mother. Ellen's works include: "The Life and Times of Kateri Tekawitha, the Lily of the Mohawks", "Life Sketches of Father Walworth" (about Ellen's uncle, Clarence A. Walworth) and "An Old World, As Seen Through Young Eyes.
From Ellen's obituary in the Post Star (Glens Falls, September 24, 1932) : "Burial was in the family plot in Greenridge Cemetery beside her late mother Mrs. Ellen Hardin Walworth, who founded the national society, Daughters of the American Revolution."
Please note that a photo Ellen's grave also appears on her mother's Find a Grave memorial (8277587). Ellen's stone is located behind her mother's stone. Ellen's stone contains a DAR Charter Member marker emblem that differs greatly from that of a founder marker that adorns her mother's gravestone.
