On September 27, 2023 at 2:35 p.m. our sweet feisty mama Margaret Acree Yarbrough, changed her worldly address after a long and joyous life. She in now in heaven with her grandsons, Brian and Michael; her sweet sisters, Betty and Nell who passed earlier this year; their brother, Robert preceded them several years earlier.
She was born in Douglasville, Georgia on February, 10, 1927 daughter of the late Samuel Frank Acree and the late Gladys Irene Ergle Acree.
She retired from Genuine Parts Company (Napa) after 44 years. She went to work there right after graduating high school from Western Highschool in Newnan, Georgia.
She is survived by her 2 children: Letitia and Eddie; 3 stepsons; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; her two sisters Carol and Brenda; two brothers, Ricky and Sammy survived her; too many nieces and nephews to count.
There have been 5 generations of us for 14 years.
Please no flowers, (send them to someone who can enjoy them!)
The family will receive friends at Hightower's Memorial Chapel for visitation only on October 7, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Hightower's Memorial Chapel of Douglasville has charge of the arrangements.
