He was born on April 19, 1976, in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Aaron is survived by his Father, Rodney Bruce Berkshire of Victorville, California, brother Thomas Harkins of Springdale, AR and sister Ashley Smith and her husband Shannon, nephew Gavin and niece Gabrielle all of Greenwood, Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his mother Deborah Harkins (Green).
Aaron was a veteran and served in the U.S. Airforce / Air National Guard and worked as a civilian contractor for the U.S. Army overseeing maintenance on drones.
Aaron was influenced by his father at an early age with a love of music. Self -taught, he learned to play the guitar. You rarely saw him without a guitar in hand strumming away. He loved to cook for his friends and family and made us all laugh until we cried.
Aaron packed a lot of living into this life traveling around the U.S and abroad. Throughout all his travels, his favorite thing in this world was to be at a BBQ with his family. He was a loyal friend and a loving son, grandson, brother, and uncle. He was a genuinely caring person with a huge heart and would be the first to offer to help anyone who needed it. To say he will be greatly missed does not even begin to cover the depth of the hole that he leaves in the hearts of all that know him.
A memorial service celebrating Aaron's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 7, 2023, graveside at the Lavaca Cemetery, in Lavaca, Arkansas.
