Elsie Virginia (Chisenhall) (McLean) Masters was born on May 25, 1946 in Clarksville, Montgomery County, Tennessee, the daughter of Doc Chisenhall (1907–1996) and Viola "Christine" (Coakley) Chisenhall (1913–2000).
She was married 1st to -- McLean, and she was married 2nd to Carl J Masters (21 Mar 1942– ), the son of Carl Masters (1917–2008) and Marguerite Lee (Johnson) Masters (1921–2020).
Elsie spent over 30 years driving a school bus, and the students lovingly knew her as "George".
A member of First Baptist Church and living in Woodlawn, Montgomery County, Tennessee, she was married and 77 years old when she passed away on either October 3 or 4, 2023. {Her obituary gives both.}

She was preceded in death by her parents, by her son Jeremy "Chris" McLean and by her granddaughter Amber Webster, while survivors included her husband Carl Masters, a married Masters son, three daughters, a McLean daughter-in-law, sixteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Celebration of Life Services were held on October 12th at First Baptist Church in Woodlawn, and burial was in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Clarksville, Montgomery County, with grandsons as Pallbearers.
