Edwin Wilfred Dunigan, 91, formerly of Monette passed away Friday, October 6, 2023 at Walnut Ridge Nursing Center.

He was born December 29, 1931 in Evening Shade to the late Edgar James and Eva Davis Dunigan. Mr. Dunigan served his country proudly as a Staff Sgt. in the United States Air Force from 1952 until 1956. He was a member of the Monette American Legion Post 136 for many years. He was a long term member of the Black Oak Church of Christ and current member of Hoxie Church of Christ.

He was also preceded in death by five brothers, Everett Dunigan, Buddy Dunigan, J. C. Dunigan, Jimmy Dunigan and Linuel Dunigan and four sisters, Jo Golden, Vena Dunigan, Dora Dean Powell and Joy Self.

He is survived by his daughters, Vickie Armbrust (Ken) of Jonesboro and Suzanne Price (Jim) of Walnut Ridge; grandson, Eric Walley and Deric Walley (Samantha) and a great-grandson, Max Walley.

Services will be private with Eddie Dunigan and Chub Qualls officiating under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home.

Honored to serve as pallbearers, Eric Walley, Deric Walley, Dickie Pace, Danny Dunigan, Jim Price and Ken Armbrust.
