Gerard Eugene "Tony" Abair, 78

Gerard Abair, 78, of Buena Park, CA, passed away on September 30, 2023.

Gerard or Tony, as most of his friends and family knew him, was born September 13th, 1945 in Long Beach, CA to Austin and Lin Abair. He attended St Lucy Elementary School and graduated from Long Beach Polytechnic High School.

He served two tours in Vietnam as a Green Beret and was honorably discharged.

In his later years he was devoted to God and the teachings of the bible and would share his feeling with those in his presence.

He led an interesting life on his terms. In his passing he will be missed.

He is survived by his 3 sisters (ML, Monica and Therese) and 1 brother (Ed) who morn his passing.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, sister Rita and brother Pete.

The memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 18th, 2023 at Luyben Dilday Mortuary, Long Beach at 10:30am. The burial will follow at Riverside National Cemetery at 2:00pm
