Alfred Forrester was the husband of Lucie Parker Forrester, & the father of Sherman G. & Mary E. Forrester. Both Sherman & Mary never married & lived with Alfred until he passed away. Sherman continued to live alone in the family home after the rest of the family passed, on what is now Bull Run Road above Cross Roads church. Because there were no immediate relatives, Lucie Parker Forrester's nephew, Rev. Rembert Parker, was named to oversee the sale of Sherman's estate. Part of the proceeds of the estate sale paid for a headstone & footstones for the Forrester family at Cross Roads.

Alfred Forrester is buried at Cross Roads next to his family. His family's graves are only marked with a single headstone & five "F" footstones, so the exact order of burial is unknown. Graves are near the dirt road.
